review 2: Adrian Mole has been with me since my Mum bought me the first diary for my 13th birthday. I was hooked then and I'm still hooked now. I read the book in two sittings and I only reluctantly put it down at the en
... mored of the first. Aidy is 40 now (I'm getting near myself) and this episode in the series, although filled with laugh-out-loud moments, is also much more poignant than the others. It's filled with all the sadness and sense of missed opportunity which getting old fills us all with. If, like me, you've grown up with Adrian Mole, don't miss this book. less

very good, but a bit depressing given the focus on Adrian's health issues in this book.

Read this a couple of years ago. It is, as all of them, amazing.
