review 2: one of the few romances i've read that weren't earthbound in some way. Intergalactic romance has usually fell short for me with the exception of only a few (like 1 other) series. But i am happy to say this series ranks right up there with great intergalactic romance and intensely human emotion. ... more The characters were full and well developed and the romance was believable and heart wrenching at the same time. I look forward to more in the series. My only complaint is that i seem to have missed a bit by not reading the author's other series. Maybe they included a bit more back story about the setting and the world these characters lived in. But i caught on pretty quick from context clues and learned to enjoy the strange other-worldliness of the story. less
