review 1: Ridiculous plot with ridiculous premise. It was another "author's fantasy" where things don't have to make sense because the author gets it. I couldn't suspend my disbelief on a lot of the elements included, where the only explanation given repeatedly was 'magic' without much other supporting detail; a convenient, if old, deus ex machina.This was a mish-mash of teenaged writing chock full of corny, modern slang, and a pretty weak plot that seems only created to support the sex rather than the other way around. If you're looking for hot sex and a story you don't have to use too much intelligence to soak up (on a vacation or at the beach), here's your book. Not my style. The number of people that gave this trash a five star rating seriously makes me question my faith in Huma... morenity.
review 2: FINALLY...Flare's story...and it's a good one! I understand the animosity she has for her Matri and the sparks of rage that set her off. She needs a strong, dominant, LOVING, understanding male...something most Primes are NOT. Then there's Tobias! Can he, will he be what she needs? Can he understand why she is the TEMPER tantrum princess? Well you'll just have to read to find out if there is a winner ino this war of wills! less
