review 1: It has an interesting beginning and yes it does start on Christmas Eve but aside from the time of year it's not a holiday story at all. I did like Chloe and that she gave up so much for her family but her life was essentially on hold. Not good. There were lots of interesting tidbits about the werewolves in this world and since this looks to be the start of a series there are plenty of threads left dangling in the end. Zach is interesting but a never did really understand why he waited eleven years. I understood the need to get his inner beast under control but that did not over a decade, so I think the author should have changed the timing a bit. Anyway, it was enjoyable and seeing them work through their trouble was fairly well plotted, if a little simple. Did I mention t... morehat even for a book of this short length the author still managed to get in several quick bouts of sex.
review 2: Some exciting sex scenes, yet it felt a bit ridiculous really. As if a modern 30+ year old woman is going to spontaneously get it on with a complete stranger on the roof of her family home.Still I can see the makings of an interesting series, with wolf packs in charge of Casinos in Vegas & Atlantic City. And who in their right mind would leave a list of wolf high rollers on a laptop that could be stolen by the rival pack? less
