review 1: So, from the very first sentence, I was "yes!" because we get to see Warner's point of view. Then, as I read, I was like "noooooo" because (as what often happens in books that you get to see the *bad guy's* perspective) now I'm starting to sympathize with him and like him. Gah! The book was awesome, I think it's the perfect example of a novella - it doesn't change anything (at least, I'm pretty sure it won't, as I haven't read book #2 yet) for the main story, but adds some depth to the characters (in this case, Warner) and adds to the story as a whole. Definitely a great read. Time to continue with book #2, "Unravel Me" next. Please, Mafi, don't let me down with this series. So far, so good!
review 2: If the Juliette chronicles ever do become major motion pictu... moreres, i would so want Dane Dehaan to play as Warner. I feel he fits perfectly with Warner's character. In regards to Warner, even though he seems evil and heartless, he has so much more to him then what Juliette believes, I really wish she can see past it. I'm yet to read Unravel Me, it was just delivered to me today. Can't wait to "unravel" this page turning journey. 5⭐️'s less
