review 1: I really, really enjoyed book #1 Silver. But this one, I just couldn't get into it at all! I wasted an entire week trying to read this book, but everytime I picked it up, I found an excuse to put it right back down. I didn't care for the way the book began, where it took the main character, and how things had drastically changed between book 1 and 2 without the reader knowing about it. I like to think of it as having a happy ending in book one and book two doesn't exist!
review 2: Loved it just as much as the first one if not more! It was slightly slow to start and It was sort of confusing in the beginning because I felt like there was a huge chunk that was missing between the two books but it all unfolded later in the story and it all made sense. This book rea... morelly played with my emotions in a good way,characters I hated I began to fall in love with, relationships I disapproved of at the beginning I found myself crying over in the last few chapters. I really hope the author makes this a trilogy so Mick can make that "possibility" a reality!!! less
