One of my favorite sayings is “better late than never”. I’m forgetful and usually running late so I need to catch all the breaks I can. Really this is just my excuse for when I do something, but not in a timely manner. This saying (or excuse) is perfect for our little blog. It was never our intention to abandon the blog or the Queen. Life kind of got in the way. It has been over a year since our last post, and after some encouragement we decided to give this another shot.
So what have we been up to? Well, Aubrey is still in Memphis becoming the best future Audiologist.
Much to my parents’ excitement, I finally graduated college and got off the payroll. I’m now a middle school special education teacher.
In between school commitments, Aubrey and I have been doing what we do best: eating and exploring. We’ve been fortunate to embark on some great adventures when we could and look forward to sharing them with you. Our blog will still remain the same. Aubrey and I will continue to chronicle our travels both together and separately. We will also continue to share the wonderful things New Orleans and Memphis have to offer, but on a more regular basis!
