review 1: This is a K.I.S.S novella - Keep It Sweet & Simple. Whether you have an I-phone or e-reader, load it with "Roping Love" for a great feel good read on the bus or waiting for a doc's appointment. Scene setup, the pull of attraction and describing the landscape is extremely well done. My only complaint is that Tamara needs to write a full length novel and give readers some juicy depth, but until she finds the time, we'll have to settle for short and sweet.Love, Hope & FaithNatasza Waters
review 2: Roping Love by Tamara HoffaWhat a sweet romance! This is what I would call a short story and I seldom find romantic short stories. It was great. It is an adult story. The sex scenes were well done and did not get boring. As you can guess, the story is about a cowboy and a
... more cowgirl. Carrie has her own horse ranch and has done very well, but ten years ago, Chance broke her heart. She had fallen madly in love with him and thought he felt the same way about her. But the night after they first made love under the Fourth of July fireworks, he left. Not only did he leave, but he refused her phone calls and never responded to her letters. But she's over him now. At least she thought she was over him until she takes her nephew, Tyler, to a big horse show. And then she sees Chance again.Chance tries to get her to talk to him. He thinks her nephew Tyler might possibly be his child. She tells him no and refuses to talk to Chance. She returns to her ranch and tries to forget about Chance again. These two do finally get together with a little help with Chance's brother. It turns out he had a valid reason for leaving her ten years ago and thought he was doing the best thing for Carrie by breaking off contact with her. This is a very sweet and well written romance. I am amazed the Tamara Hoffa got so much information into this very well written romantic short story.I also liked that the heroine did not just take one look at the hero and cave. I loved both the hero and the heroine and the glimpse I got of the supporting cast made me want to read more about them also. This story is very well done and I recommend it highly to anyone who enjoys a good romance and especially to anyone who enjoys western style romance stories.A solid five stars - wish it could have been more. less
