review 1: Good book. I listened to the audio version and found the reading of the lists a bit tedious at times but probably only because I find it hard to listen and absorb lists. I'm sure if I had been reading the book I wouldn't have minded. Oh, the lists... this book is about a group of graduating high school seniors on a scavenger hunt. I sure wish our school would have been as creative as this fictional one. I love scavenger hunts. Even though the book takes place over the period of a night the characters do develop and grow.
review 2: Way too cliché! An entertaining read, but no substance. Teens will like it, but wow, the stereotypes all lived up to the expectations for them. No new ground broken here...give me those great YA novels like The Book Thief, I Am... more the Messenger, The Miseducation of Cameron Post, things with substance! With that said, I know about 2 dozen girls I could recommend this to for a quick, entertaining read. less
