review 1: When i saw how everyone was reading this and it was a favorite of many i told myself "damn, get on that". To be honest the story didn't really get to me, Senna is kind of despicable, of course she's been through a lot, but it doesn't stop her from being a character that you can't get attached to. Even Isaac isn't that attachable. That being said, the writing itself is beautiful, Fisher has a beautiful writing style, i just didn't really connect with the book or the story.
review 2: This is definitely one of those books where you CANNOT judge it by it's cover! It's so far from a smut riddled romance, it's basically it's own country. I honestly don't know how to react after reading this book. The writing was so dark and raw, it made me discover my own hidden mud
... morevein, and the all the things I refuse to acknowledge in my past and present. Also it should be mentioned that the psychological thriller had me on my toes the entire time! Very well done :) less

Beautifully written. I guess dark stories like this one are not my thing.
