review 1: This is the first book by this author I have read, but it won't be the last for sure! Once I could quit looking at this awesome cover and go to the first page, I truly loved this book, and the character of James was very special and wonderfully written. I love to see characters with disabilities that are strong, and don't let their disability define who they are. James has had a rough go of it, but will he find the love and stability he has been searching for in Seth? This is a wonderful book, it has light bsdm, but nothing extreme, and the characters are very well executed! Please pick up this book, you are in for a literary treat if you do! Thanks Tempeste, for a lovely read that insures that even though this is my first book of yours, it certainly will not be my ... morelast!
review 2: I really enjoyed the story. There were just a couple of odd things that I kind of noticed. One was the somewhat stilted dialogue. Apparently this author doesn't believe in contractions, so that took a bit of getting used to. Another was that I had no clue what the MC's looked like and no idea where the story took place, which was a bit weird too. But luckily enough, I was engrossed enough in the love story developing between the MC's that these were minor inconveniences, something I noticed but that didn't really detract at all from my enjoyment of the book. I'm definitely reading the next one. less

The cover intrigued me. But well, it just really didn't connect with me.
