review 1: This book deals with mental, sexual, & physical abuse. It is about the family dynamics & choices made coming from an abusive family. You, as the reader, may not approve or understand the choices made by the central characters, but if you have ever been in a similar situation you will be able to empathize that a lot of bad choices are an escape mechanism until the victims become survivors. This book was such a good book, but I do not recommend it if you have been abused and are still in the victim stage of your life.
