review 1: Do not read if you expect a pretty little bow at the end. Do not read if you can not appreciate the quiet and subtle suffering. PLEASE read if you want an honest and real depiction of soul mates how are trying to get it right for themselves and each other. Please read if you need a different and refreshing writing style. What a surprising read. I was caught off guard by how dark and violent this was, I was drawn into the complexity and sadness of these characters. There is subtlety to which all this was conveyed- there was so much UNSPOKEN yet it was evidently LOUD at the same time.
review 2: I was expecting great things from this book after reading the initial story outline and the raving reviews on amazon, (bit more mixed on Goodreads).However even though thi... mores author does appear to have talented I found it really difficult to connect to the leading characters, reading each chapter thinking it's going to get better now! Not sure exactly why this book didn't work for me, part of it I think was due to being written in the 3rd person.Hated the ending- really after all that it ends there?!I would wait if you still want to read this book for it to go on sale, as £4.99 is way over price for this book. less
