review 1: I'm on a Tess Oliver binge at the minute and is it any wonder when the woman can do no wrong. Whether it's paranormal romance, hot tattoo artists or in this instance a story about lost friendship and relationships. Lovely characterisation with a good storyline. I really enjoyed the character development and depth that each and every player had, what you maybe thought about someone based on a first impression isn't necessarily all there is to that person. My only complaint is I wish it had been so much longer and maybe a wee epilogue to catch us up on Duchess and Nico a few months/years down the line. A great wee read.
review 2: Who doesn't love the story of childhood friends growing to love each other as so much more, add a little suspense and mystery and yo
... moreu have a winner. This book was great, I loved that this one was set near a lake. Jessa comes home after years of being away and sees the friends she never meant to leave behind for the first time. As Jessa becomes more comfortable in her hometown, she begins to receive threatening messages and "accidents" begin to happen. The romance, this one was steamy sweet. Dear Lord Niko had me melting and I loved every second of it. Jessa. She was really sweet, and I felt bad for her. She comes home after losing ouch with her friends, not knowing if they will accept her back, only to find that everything had changed while she was gone. Her best friends were no longer on speaking terms and she felt caught in the middle of them. And the threats and "accidents"? But she handled it well. She never let it keep her down.Niko. Seriously the bad boy of the series. I loved that he had tats (that meant something) and a motorcycle. I fell in love with him in the beginning and I was rooting for him the whole time. This was great book. It felt finished at the end and didn't leave me wanting more and I was definitely pleased with that. Where should you read this? Well to keep up with the theme of this series, read this one by the lake! less

I liked it, but it was a bit predictable. I figured out the 'bad guy' early on.
