review 1: At first I thought this was just another book about a teen with cancer, but it really wasn't. The main character, rather than looking for sympathy, is trying to live her life normally without any of her friends finding out she has cancer. I think this book would be most appealing for readers looking for a romance, since there is quite the love triangle, with a somewhat sappy twist. I didn't love the book, but I also didn't hate it...I found myself racing to the end just to see what happened next.

... moreood grades and good friends. Mia is also about to go into her senior year in high school and her and her four best friends plan to have the best year ever. Unfortunately, during the middle of summer, Mia discovers she has leukemia. Only Mia's parents, her best friend Gyver, and Gyver's parents know. She is unsure if she should keep it a secret from her friends as she gets worse. This book was a great choice to read, I couldn't put it down. I really do recommend this book! less

Mia irritated me through more than half the book. I do, however, really want my own Gyver.
