review 1: I really was into the relationship with Blane and Kathleen. I thought he was the bad boy turned good guy in terms of women. However, I was seriously mislead which I why I haven't read this one sooner. I see how much I underestimated and how much he really did see. I wish I could say that this changed my whole outlook and maybe in some ways it did but I'm still a little pissed and Mr. Kirk. He thinks he can get what he wants by taking with disregard for anyone's feelings this doesn't bother him until Kathleen. I have noticed that that these male characters are egocentric and arrogant. I'm glad that Kathleen put them in place.
review 2: This was a retelling of No Turning Back from Blane's POV. So, it's the same story, but you get inside Blane's head to know what
... more he was thinking and feeling. I would say you could skip this one because you could figure out what he felt in book one, but I would suggest reading Turn on a Dime, for the reason that, you get the back story of Kade and Blane. I think it is necessary to know all that Kade and Blane went through separately and together, in the past. Blane has a huge heart when it comes to his brother. Kade is a very strong man who has endured unthinkable things. Their love for each other is deep. Now knowing how close they are will make for interesting reading as the series progresses, especially when it comes to Kat. I wonder which one will win out... brotherly love or romantic love. less

I can't give a book from Blane's perspective 5 stars. I can't wait for Kade's turn!
