review 1: I haven't read any Canadian true crime yet for unknown reasons, possibly because it makes me angry. The legal system here is infuriating, although Williams is serving 2 life sentences in Canada, that isn't enough. What this man did was horrible and disgusting. "I hope he rots." Very well written, engaging read. Doesn't drag on at all. Would recommend to lovers of true crime, and it is definitely a story for Canadians to become familiarized with. An eye opener for small town folks... Not everything is what it seems.

The fact is that Russell Williams is not a psychopath because he does care for some people in his life. But it is the very fact that he knew what he was doing and that it was wrong that makes him so uniquely dangerous. less

I'd rate this 3 and a half if I could. It's an okay read, very repetitive. Typical true-crime stuff.
