review 1: I liked this new take on Robin Hood with him and Little John being immortals and spirit brothers. Salena did sometimes annoy me as she could be too stubborn and difficult at times but I can understand her refusal to want to believe that the brother she'd been so close to when they were children could hate her so much and want her dead.I loved when she finally accepted him and admitted her feelings for him! I laughed at the end when it hinted Little John's story was next as Lorcan (their mentor) had seen his intended and John was not happy about the thought of settling down at all!
review 2: Big mistake to write about a time, even if it is a fantasy/fiction story and NOT get the basics correct.Having sex horseback not even close to being believable. AND riding ... morebareback to boot! There were other things that bothered me, that are nit picky, but if you are going to write a book with some REAL things in it, at least get the "real" stuff right.I did like the premise of the story, I just felt the author should have had better guidance on some of the stuff. less
