review 1: Okay, vielleicht bin ein ganz kleines bisschen voreingenommen, aber es war wirklich gut!Ich liebte es endlich mal genauer etwas über die einzelnen Hintergründe der Bandmitglieder zu erfahren und wie sie zusammengekommen sind. Zudem über ihre Musik zu lesen, die Record Labels und wie sie es geschafft haben, eigenständig Alben produzieren zu können. Es war besser als ich erwartete habe. Ich hätte es schon längst einmal lesen sollen! :)
review 2: I'm currently reading this, and it is so good! I've never read an autobiography so I didn't know what to expect, but this was definitely not it! It's so funny and well written, and it feels like I'm not only learning the story of McFly, I'm also reading a good book with a story actually worth reading! I only starte... mored reading today and I'm already more than halfway through. Even if I wasn't into McFly, this is still a read-worthy book if your into music. It lets you peek into the world of music, and, at the same time, you get some funny stories! Love it love it love it. Considering the genre and everything, it's definitely worth 5 stars! If you're into McFly this is a must read! I lolled more than once on the train, which was kind of embarrassing, but the "...nope... Definitely his balls" bit in the prologue was just too funny, and I got a couple of funny looks from the other passengers ;) ****I have now finished it, and I think this might be one of my favorite books ever. It's ranking quite high for sure, not at all beating TFIOS of course, but it's definitely up there. Might be because I'm a big McFly fan, I don't know, all I know is that I loved it. Especially the bit about Dougie and Lara which was so cute and made me a little sad that they're not together anymore... All in all; if you're into McFly, READ IT! End of story :) less
