review 1: Can't really explain the awesomeness in words, but here goes my attempt:Warning: Not for those who aren't interested in animation and technical details. For those who are and love art and understanding how things are made/done this book is totally for you! The artwork is incredible. The talent of these artist amazed me and to see ALL the artwork they did and didn't even use was saddening. I'm glad DreamWorks gave us a chance to see it.I loved looking "behind-the-scenes" to the first concepts of the movie and learn about why they changed things or made certain decisions. Now that I'm reading the series, it was particularly interesting to learn their reasoning behind separating the book plots from the film. And that in fact, orginally, they were going to follow it. For anima... moretion enthusiasts, there is rich information on the animation process itself as well. Plus specific names of programs and material used to make this film what it is today. It really makes one appreciate the work that goes into making these films. It takes a whole lot of people, research, talent and dedication to make it happen. The bottom line....it was an awesome book! Total must read and a must buy for fans of both the films and the books, and even animation lovers. I know I loved it!Thanks DreamWorks for making this amazing movie! And Tracey Miller-Zarneke for letting me in BTS!
review 2: This book was not as good as the art book for the second movie. But I enjoyed it nonetheless. Again the art is amazing and it's really neat to see all the concept art. I like how this book told you a lot about the steps in putting everything together to make the movie perfect. Making an animation sounds so hard, but it was really neat to learn about! I loved this book and am so excited to have it in my own personal library :D less

Very good book, and a very good movie, both would be 5 stars if not for the amazing output of Pixar.
