review 1: This book had kept me on the edge of my seat. The book is about a girl named Sara. Sara and her mother plan to finally escape Sara's abusive father. On the day they plan to escape, Sara's mother mysteriously disappears. Her dad says she is on a business trip. Sara doesn't believe him. She wants to believe that her mom is looking for houses for them. Will Sara's mom return? Or is she gone for good? Read the book to find out.--Teen Reviewer
review 2: There are things easier said than done."Whay She Left Behind" is a good thrill book. It made me assume and think things about the characters. The abuse part is logical. I get those people who thinks that the first thing they should've done is calling some lawyer from far away, but is it really that easy from just esc... moreaping and leaving everything behind? The answer is No. Getting abused by someone you love and trust is just as hard as accepting that that person hurts you. How can you call on something like that? Thats why I get why Sara and hee mom just chose to leave. coz it's hard really. But it's a free world. everyone have their own opinion. less
