review 1: I just love this series. However I get so frustrated I want to throw my kindle into the wall. Sheesh!! I am so mad at Kale it is unbelievable. I think Arys is allowing his fear to make his decisions. Alexa is being very sloppy and allowing others to pay for her mistakes. I mean I thought she would learn from her mistakes but no she just keeps making them over and over again.I love this series because Alexa is a strong female character that allows us to feel that way. I like the way she stands up to bullies. I also like that she is confident and tempermental. The flaws these characters portray allow us to realize that no one is right or wrong just imperfect. I totally want people to read this series and particularly this book.
review 2: Book 6 and this series is... more getting better. It was a joy to revisit these characters, who I enjoy a lot. These characters are they are flawed, are what they are and don't try to be or pretend that they are something they are not and make no apologizes it.There is such a mix in this book, fallen angels, vampires, demons, shifters what more could a fan of the genre want? The story twist and turns, keeping the reader on their toes. There is the occasional, did the author just really do that? Followed by a wee bit of cussing. (But that might just be me) Definitely a great read. less
