review 1: Simon is the kind of guy that makes female hearts everywhere go pitter patter. Because how do you make a werewolf better? Make him a soldier. That's really the only way. We met Simon in book one of this series. He was that character who made you wonder about him, want to find out more about him, eager to get inside his head and his heart. And once you learn more about him, you cannot help but fall in love. Trapped in his wolf form, Simon needed someone to help heal him. Rose is another one of those great female leads. She is most certainly not perfect, but that's what makes her so great. She is a real woman with real problems…of course she's got a sexy werewolf to help her out with some of those. I don't have a werewolf. Life just isn't fair.V.A. Dold is very ... moregood at characters. She is able to bring them to life and make us, the readers, care about them. I love it when an author can do that. While each of these books is a complete story within itself, I would recommend reading Cade before this one, first because it was a good story and second because it will give you a little bit more of the back story. These stories are fun, sweet, and sexy all rolled into one.I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
review 2: I received a free copy from the Author/Publisher in exchange for an honest review. Simon and Rose are the perfect match. This book has it all. I am loving this author and series more and more. I love the fact that the women so far have been a bit older and curvier (plus size) than they are in most books and the men love them all the more for it. The wonderful storytelling continues as does the world of the shifters in this 2nd installment of the LeBeau brother’s series.I’m always afraid I’ll give something away so no spoilers here. If you read book one, Cade, then you already know who Simon and Rose are, if not, read Cade ASAP. You won’t regret it. If you love shifters then you will love the LeBeau brothers. less
