review 1: 3.9 starsPros: *Jeffrey is awesome.*"A Modest Proposal" reference.*The paranoia that'll make a MC throw a championship 'cause he's awesome enough to win, but also awesome enough to lose on purpose.*Loving the bisexual/bigotry theme -- never thought about anything like that, and that's just delicious in mind-expanding ways.*MC's thoughts and POV are amusing. *Conclusion was fabulous. *(And props for a riveting summary that was fun to read I am itself. ) Cons:*The constant escape theme drags and I'm disconnected from the story frequently.*The smex is mostly dubious content at the least, and there's not nearly enough for me :[
review 2: This was awesome through and through. It feels like ages since I enjoyed a vampire fic so much! It was unique replete with quirky... more humor, fast paced story-telling and interesting likable characters. I'm surprised at how well written it is and still manages to be a freebie. In the middle it kinda got a little boring and I was wondering why the added twist with Wally and Abram 'n all but the author ties everything up quite nicely at the end.RECOMMENDED!!! less
