review 1: I really liked the stories in this but whenever I spot a major mistake in a book it takes something away from it for me. ::SPOILER:: Such was the case with "The Christmas Set-Up" by Jill Shalvis (2nd story in this anthology.) First she states that there is only a claw foot tub in the cabin and that is why Zoe finds Jason naked as a jay bird and soaking in the tub when she accidentally walks in. Then later she mentions that they both take separate showers. That's why I gave this one three stars instead of 4. Sorry ladies.
review 2: A cute collection of holiday stories--I liked the premise, that a remote cabin could *magically* bring couples together. The three authors did a decent job with it, though interestingly enough, it was the author who I already knew an
... mored liked (Julie Kenner) whose story I felt was the weakest of the three. It wasn't bad, it just didn't seem as cohesive as the other two--for one thing, Cleo's turnaround seemed abrupt and without a real trigger for it...it just didn't seem clear what made her change her mind. It was interesting that in the first and the last stories, it was the hero who seemed more sure of what he wanted and the heroine who needed convincing and was determined to have more of a "no strings" relationship for much of the story--interesting twist. The progression of the cabin through the holiday season (Thanksgiving for the first story, then Christmas, and finally New Year's) made the cabin the focus of the anthology more than the holidays. A nice, fluffy read to curl up with on the couch...unless, of course, you have a hot tub :-) less

I liked all three stories but by far the Shalvis is my favorite. They were all cute holiday reads.

This was so much fun. Quick and cute, with a little bit of steam.
