review 1: I think if the author expanded on this story a bit and fleshed it out, it would make for a wonderful story. The premise is interesting and the romance between the two characters is something I really wanted to delve into more. Unfortunately, the length of the story didn't allow for us to really get to know the characters. Please don't take my low rating to mean that the story is bad or uninteresting. On the contrary, I was fully invested, but there just weren't enough pages for me and the ending was very abrupt. It definitely has potential. :)
review 2: In spite of this being a romance with older main characters (the male lead is 46 and the female lead is 43) I really liked this short story! It covers the romantic aspects and problems of dating someone who you'... moreve known as a couple that you and your spouse spent time with. This story also covers the complications of adult children and how they feel about the relationship. Really good story just like everything that Victoria Dahl writes. less
