review 1: To be honest, I'm not sure what to think. I didn't like this book for the two thirds but then it got complicated and interesting. Some of characters were constantly getting on my nerves (for exempel Pinky, I hate her even now!!) and sometimes I wasn't sure if I'm reading real book or just some crazy fanfiction with crossover of Twilight and Fifty Shades of Grey with some sci-fi. Another problem was with the foreign names and technologies and everything. I understand that auther did it on purpos but sometimes I got totally lost because I didn't understand what is she talking about. That's why I would appreciate some kind of dictionary or something like that. But yeah, the last third of the book saved the day! Because of that I'm thinking about reading the rest of the s... moreerie.
review 2: Starší věci z argenitového vesmíru mě nikdy moc nezaujaly, ale buď jsem se změnil, nebo se Vilma Kadlečková vypsala. Nebo nejspíš obojí. Je to dobře napsané, postavy jsou leckdy sice poměrně nesympatické, ale přesto zajímavé, mimozemské náboženství a společnost mají svou vlastní hloubku, párkrát jsem si vzpomněl na Dunu a to spíš na základě celkového dojmu, než nějakých povrchních podobností. Uvidíme, kam to půjde dál. less
