review 1: I needed a short & fun read. This book turned out to be more than that. I had a pleasant surprise! Melina & the Dalton twins, Max & Rhys, have been friends for a really long time. Rhys & Melina 'almost' had a thing going in their teens. Something happened that caused a ridge between them & since then, they've avoided each other. Max, tired of the Rhys & Melina's foolishness, set them up for a weekend they'll never forget. And it was HOT! Sizzlin'!This was a very enjoyable read. The connection & chemistry between Rhys & Melina was strong & palpable. Both of them were likable characters & I couldn't help but root for them. They were perfect for each other. The secondary characters were interesting, too. I'm looking forward to reading their stories & more from this au... morethor.
review 2: I liked the story despite the heroine's attitude.It was sad and irritating to watch an adult scientist act like a whiny 5-years-old.She was in love but she also was so stupid that she made the hero think she was just using him??? Science is supposed to be about rationality, not brainlessness. And, there was a limit to the insecurities I could stand. Beyond that, she was simply insufferable.I guess the author intented to desribe her as sweet and vulnerable but, finally, she was off the mark. less
