review 1: This was my first Virna DePaul book and I enjoyed it so, so much! I've never read a book about magicians before so it was new to me. The bottom line here is what a wonderful and marvelous guy this Dalton brother is. He is just amazing. There is something for everyone in this book, but I think the love is what stands out for me. Thanks to this book I found a new-to-me writer who is now one of my all time favourites. Never a dull moment with the Dalton brothers and if you want to evade reality for a while and lose yourself in this youthful love affair with some hot, steamy lovin thrown in then this book is for you!
review 2: Definitely the trashiest book title I've ever actually read. I'm a sucker for friendship-turned-romance stories, so I enjoyed that bit
... more. There were some frustrating power struggles in the bedroom and elsewhere between the couple (points for dose of reality, though when the main characters are identical twin magicians, this is an uphill battle). Mostly just another dime store paperback with poor writing and gems like "her p***y wept". speaking of poor writing pet peeves... is "hank" a verb??? less

Did not enjoy. Premise of trying to learn about sex from your friend is odd.

Not quite a 3, but a little more than a 2...
