review 1: This is a short prequel in the Para-Ops series. It's good but more of a peak into a world than a full blown story. I liked it and it did what it was suppose to do and that's get me interested enough to read the books in the series. Also it was free on Amazon so it's ok that it was a peak and not a full blown story. So far it seems to be UF but it's hard to tell if it will stay that way or go PNR in the regular series.
review 2: This was a great way for me to see if I was interested in her para series (which, by the way, I am;) ). The story unfolded in a unique way. I would not say this is a great beginning to end kind of tale, but it does really give us a glimpse of the world created in this series and the author's writing style. It was free on Amazon today!... more Not sure how long it will stay there. I am really looking forward to this series! less
