review 1: I started reading this book on Wattpad while I was on vacation, and I was hooked. As soon as I got back home, I bought it for my Kindle. For awhile there, I was worried it was going to be one of those NA-books that end with a cliffhanger, forcing you to buy the next one to read the ending, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did this book have an ending, it wsa a satisfying one, as well. And, unlike other books I've read, I didn't feel it was too abrupt or too neatly tied up. I applaud the heroine for standing strong and refusing to fall into her mother's destructive patterns, and for growing as a person over these years into a strong, independent young woman. I wasn't always on board with Dylan, but in the end, I was happy for them both. I very much enjoyed the story... more and the writing style, so I couldn't see any reason why I wouldn't give it 5 stars. Predictability factor? Well, sure, some things might be predictable, but the story itself more than made up for it. If you read a lot of romance, and if you *enjoy* reading romance, this book shouldn't disappoint.
review 2: This is such a sexy and fun NA, with smart, geeky characters who fall in love - twice - while working on science projects. I loved the sexual tension between Tess and Dylan, and I also loved how accurately college life is portrayed in this book. Crazy expensive textbooks? Check. Barely having time to do anything but go to class and study and work? Check. Awkward family conversations about your choices and your future? Check. Highly recommended for fans of NA who want something unique! less
