review 1: I was given an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion on this book. I loved this book, but who wouldn’t? You get a sexy Scottish laird in Creighton Matheson, a telepathic communicator of animals in Paisley Munro, and a feisty grandmother who is not afraid to speak her mind with her wickedly dirty comments. Add to it men in kilts, Scottish landscapes, shape shifters, intrigue, humor and incredible sex make this book a fun romp between its pages. Definitely a great read and I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an escape from life for awhile. Warning: Once you start, you will find it hard to put down!
review 2: I am an alpha asshole that turns into some kind of unidentified bear and eats nothing but honey and salmon, rawr! And we are... more obviously fated and in instalove so it's okay if I mess with your brain some and make love to you for the first time twice. And thank goodness, because the evil scourge of drugs has taken over my sleuth of bears, grrrr! And no I won't tell you anything about pack dynamics or how shifting happens or if my family is the only one that can do this kinda thing, because we need to get our love and angst on, rawr! less
