review 1: This was a wonderful book and quite a quick and humorous read. It read as if the reader was having a deep and meaningful conversation with Warwick Davis, himself . . . sit back and relax, have a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit, while Warwick relates his life story. Warwick Davis' life, both personal and professional, has had many ups and downs (as most lives do) and he has navigated both with determination, intelligence, and an intact & invaluable sense of humor! I am definitely looking forward to reading another autobiography/memoir covering the further adventures of Warwick Davis!
review 2: I was given this book as a gift and had no idea how much I'd enjoy it. Davis is warm, funny and humble, and has a lot of interesting stories to tell. Despite meeting si... moregnificant obstacles and experiencing loss, he has a wonderful outlook on life. The one question that I thought I might receive an answer to but didn't was: why did Professor Flitwick's appearance change so drastically? Still, an easy and pleasurable read, and I look forward to watching his 'Life's Too Short' series (with Ricky Gervais) when it premiers on Aussie free-to-air tv tomorrow. less
