review 1: This is a very informative book regarding PR and spin, the relationship between PR and journalism, the Healthcare crisis, the power of corporations to influence public opinion and politicians, all from someone who devoted their life and got very rich off participating in it. It is available in paperback for 7.20 from Amazon or available from SFPL audio download or checkout. I think it is a must read if you really want to know the problems with the healthcare system, Obamacare and the insurance industry.

... moregislation over the past century, the book also wanders quite a bit. It comes across as autobiographical at some points, with the author trying to pull at your heart strings as he describes his own descent into PR darkness. However, I never really felt connected to the author and found that he tended to ditch the autobiographical portions of the story three quarters of the way through the book.Overall, a good book for anyone interested in the power of PR and a quick history of the healthcare industry. Beware of the bias of the author, though -- he is quick to point out the flaws in logic of the PR campaigns used in healthcare, but does little to present the 'right' way it should have been done. less
