review 1: Wow, what an extreme dose of meh. I wasn't expecting much, and that's good because all I got was a bunch of bland... blandness. Nothing important really happens. He marries the robot at the end but the author can't be bothered to explore the idea of marriage to a person without free will. Ya, I know some folks don't believe in free will for humans but for the robot there's no doubt at all. The best thing about it was that it was really short, 2.6 hours total reading time and even that was a little long.
review 2: This is the kind of book that attracts both young and old - the young to show them what may be, and the older reader, to make them think of what might may still be. I remember reading books similar to this one during my pre teens, albeit (Mike doesn
... more't like this word) a lot less spicy, and developed a love of science and science fiction that remains today. I'll give a we'll done to these first two books and hope the author turns it into a series. less

Weird, but could not put it down, so I ended up reading the next book. IDK....

I guess I just didn't like the perspective given in this book.
