review 1: The First Third is filled with cracking lines, an awesome plot line and the most relate-able novel I think I have ever read. It was a quick read but I enjoyed every single minute of it. It's great to see a Greek-Aussie guy from Sydney (like me)write a novel with such passion and soul and I recommend everyone go out and read this book as it is a short read that will keep you laughing and crying at the same time!
review 2: This was almost 5 stars for me. I loved My Big Fat Greek wedding and I loved The First Third. Not that they have a lot in common other than enchanting and genuine Greek characters, culture and food. Bill's beloved grandma (what an amazing character) gives him her bucket list to fulfil, basically to keep the family glued together. It's harder th... morean it looks.
