review 1: 1 star plus one for being free - The only reason I read this book was because it was part of LHNB Vol 3 Anthology. I am so not into incest/brocest that this is the first I have actually read. As a first piece I am thankful the writing wasn't all that good because I never felt apart of the story; when the kiss came it didn't bother me - I wasn't invested. It was a lot of telling and very little showing. It felt rushed and un detailed.
review 2: I don't mind brocest at all; that is not a factor in my rating. For me this story was a lot of "tell" rather than "show." I felt like the author spelled everything out - both in the character development and in the plot - instead of letting me fill in some of the blanks for myself. I find this writing style to be rigid an... mored boring, as it doesn't take any processing skills. I believe that while the author had a very workable plot, the execution was done poorly, which is disappointing. less
