review 1: I have a love/hate relationship with this series. I really like the concept, I like women who can kick some ass & who are supportive, & I like that the characters are not perfect. I dislike the extensive description of the bad fashion (enough with the turtlenecks) and lack of description in other areas. Not to mention the bad editing: people being in two places at once, typos, weird verbiage (like English is not her native language), & repeated lines. Overall, good enough for me to keep reading to find out how the sisters are developing but much room for improvement (maybe a new editor).
review 2: I can't believe this is book 14...FORTEEN...in the Otherworld series. And what a ride it's been so far. Something tells me that it's about to get bumpy. I'm not ... moregoing to give away spoilers in this book, but must tell you change is happening, big time, for the D'Artigo sisters. This book centers mainly on Delilah, our little cat shifter. Oh don't worry, a kitty is not her only shape, she can also become a panther and a Death Maiden. In other words: Lethal! The girls are awaiting the birth of their house sprites baby, their friends wife's baby and all hell breaks loose. Things happen that will forever change the lives of Camille, Menolly and Delilah D'Artigo. This book is a turning point in the series and we already know the next picks right up where this one left off, except it will be Menolly's tale....Happy reading! less
