review 1: If the plot gets any thicker in this series my head might just explode!! Ok so this book was a complete mind boggler in terms of higher powers intertwining, poor Camille she is pulled in so many directions in this book! She is such a strong character! My mind feels like it was pulled through the wringer trying to figure out all the who's friend /who's foe/ what the hell's going on! Struggled with this book, too much going on & too many stories intertwined.
review 2: This was a fairly fun read and I generally prefer the books in this series narrated by Camille over the other 2 sisters. There was enough going on to keep me interested, plus some series plot developments that will keep me reading.I think I might have enjoyed this book more if I had read the previou... mores books in the series more recently. I kept having to think really hard who all the characters were, and there were parts of the overall story arc that I had forgotten completely. I am hoping to read the rest of the available books in this series over the next 6 months and see if that makes them more enjoyable. less
