review 1: I liked her open and honest explanation of why she changed her diet from junk-food vegan to eating only unprocessed food. I know I am weak, but I'm not sure I could live that way unless I develop health problems that would give me pause. Giving up meat wasn't herculean for me, but I love bread and chocolate chip cookies too much to stop eating them at this point in my life. A lot of the recipes in the book sound delicious.

... moreead so far, because a lot of her recipes are heavy on nuts (which I am restricting right now), and some of them are just not my style of eating. I still might buy it though for the rest. less
