review 1: I got to 112 pages and just stopped. There is to much information that I don't care to read. I lost interest in the story with all this info that I felt wasn't important to the story. There were also times when the characters knew more than they should know about the other characters in certain scenes.Toward the start of this story, it had promise until chapter 10. You have to read for yourself, to decide whether this story is for you or not.
review 2: Another Sexy ShifterA.C. Arthur has done it again. The Shadow Shifter series continues to amaze me. This is another great read. This series has taken us from the streets to the jungle and back again. I am in love with family of jaguar shifters and I hope we keep getting more. Caprise is a shifter running fr... moreom who and what she is. She is also running from a past she doesn’t want anyone to know about. She is a shifter who cannot embrace that part of her life. To take her mind away from her issues, she dances. She is an exotic dancer who owns the minds of men when she is on stage. Xavier is a FBI agent who is deadly to anyone is sets out to hurt those he cares about. He is the man who is tasked by Caprise’s brother Nick to keep an eye on her and eyeing her is what he does very well. Caprise and Xavier have a very HOT relationship. It sizzles and their story burns up the pages of this book. Keeping in line with the other books in this series, the book has intrigue, hotness, sexy shifters and a devious mastermind. Passion’s Prey is an excellent read. The storyline is well written. It has believable plot, great storyline flow and terrific character interaction. This is a 5 star read and we HIGHLY recommend it. Do yourself a huge favor and pick up all of the books in this series. less
