review 1: I wish I could give this 10 stars. To date it's the only WWII book that's ever made me cry, which is saying a lot actually. This was an incredible story. I really appreciated the insight into how the German military felt about the war and what it looked like from their perspective. I feel like saying anything about the climax of the book, the act of chivalry referenced in the title, would be a spoiler. But suffice it to say I had goosebumps.
review 2: One of the best books I have read in quite some time. Adam Makos takes a ten minute meeting in the air and turns it into a 380 page work of art. The story flowed beautifully from one page to the next and you could picture everything as it happened in your mind. I do not want to give away any of the story, but i... moret is worth every penny spent and every moment reading it. I was sad that the book had to end, and am eagerly awaiting his next book. less
