review 1: Excellent book, very useful for anyone in ministry, helpful to extroverts to understand introverts more. Many of the programs out there are designed by and for extroverts, they miss out on opportunities to minister to and to be ministered by introverts. As an Introvert, I appreciated his challenge of it's not an excuse to be antisocial but an encouragement to recognize and reach out to the other introverts in the body. We are often overlooked because we think before we speak and usually the loudest person gets their way even if it's not the best way.
review 2: Whoa! Described me in so many ways. Very useful insight. Relieves guilt. Helps me know how to better mesh with my extroverted colleagues, especially in task-oriented meetings and teams. For example, I cer... moretainly do hold myriad conversations in my head and develop thoughts and plans, but tend to not share them with people until those plans are far along. That's not fair to extroverts who might need to be updated on my thinking and might also need external feedback in order to grow themselves. less
