review 1: This was a rather good book it was great in fact right up until the very ill advised and more than rushed ending. It was terrible. The whole story and the universe Adriana Hunter created was interesting and really well developed. I was impressed with it being included in the Fated Mates Bundle on Amazon I thought that it would conclude with a cliffhanger as most of them do but this one was complete. However, the ending left so much to be desired. It was so quickly wrapped up in a very generic "romantic" ending that it really ended up tainting the whole story. I was connecting with the characters and wondering where their story would lead; reading the end after the mystery was solved I thought that Adriana Hunter was setting these characters up for a series or at least to e... morexplore the other characters that were introduced in her home town. I wanted to know what happened to her partner and whether or not she would return to her detective position in her new town or back home. There was so many ways that this book could have ended it was just a huge disappointment that it had to end like a romance writing for idiots or dummies books. The only thing I can think of is that maybe a deadline approached and she just slapped something together hoping that she could fix it sometime in the future. But anyway that's why I gave it three stars instead of two.
review 2: I enjoyed this book. It was more romantic thriller in it's own way. Serena is a police officer who has a one night stand who ends up being the lead suspect in the murder case she is working. During her case she meets Wes who keeps pulling her to him. While she battles her feelings for Wes and Brody, she's working her butt off to solve the mystery of the murdered naked man left on the frozen lake. All American Wolf was an interesting book, and it was good. less

Just didn't do it for me. Predictable mystery, cardboard characters. Just stolid sludge.

It was an okay read. It was parts that just did not keep my attention but not bad.
