review 1: So I was surprised by this book. I liked it. It was a little ridiculous at times (mom takes dad's hiring of him at face value?)(mom and dad let him live with them?), and Gabe's "babe" and "sweetheart" talk annoyed me, but it had some fun action and entertainment. It was a super fast read, too. I thought the ending was just right; I hope there won't be a sequel, I just don't know how that would work. This book is a 3.5 star.
review 2: I want to start with how no one talks about how creepy this whole book was. There are some serious creepy/scary undertones no one seems to pick up on. I was actually scared late at night. Maybe, I'm just a wuss. Anyways, my most favorite par of the whole thing is the flirty mischievous Gabe!! Gah!! Every time, every single tim... moree, he said "sweetheart" I melted!! His flirty personally did something to me. less
