review 1: This book is a wonderful spin on the classic tale of "Alice in Wonderland." It focuses on the main character, a young man with the first name Alice. He is taken into Wonderland by the Cheshire cat when strolling though a busy street. Then is soon introduced to the one and only Mad Hatter. This Wonderland is a bit different then the one you may know, this Wonderland is focused on murderess game of Kill the White Rabbit. The only problem is The White Rabbit is swift and not easily caught, adding to this is the current uprising against the famous Queen of Hearts. I have only read the first book in this series of six books so far, and this book is really just introducing you to the whole story-line. I love this series so far, its a break from the normal fantasy stories you'll ... morefind in your library. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed the original "Alice in Wonderland" or simply anyone who is looking for a good story to get into. Trust me, you wont be able to put this book down.
review 2: It really shouldn’t be a shock that I like something related to Alice in Wonderland. I’ve made it clear it is one of my favorite stories and I adore when people add their own little twist to it.In this story of Alice in Wonderland the names are given to them and they have their places with their own rules and their own tasks. “Alice” is the 89th to come to Wonderland and happens to be male (it is not clear if this is a first or not, but his case seems to be different than the others) with the task to kill The White Rabbit for Alice is the only one who can do such a thing, but Alice can harm or kill no other in the Wonderland. For this though, Alice will be able to have freedom within the land to live as he pleases if he is the real Alice. less
