review 1: What a great intriguing premise with so much drama and with a hunk of a male that made me drool. I was hooked at the first page. A story with feeling and with male camaraderie that keeps your interest through out but beware of explicit sexual scenes at about 68% into the book that seemed to me implausible given the heroines past. Loved the rest of the story and will look for more from this author in the future.
review 2: 4-4 1/2 stars. Very sweet MC read. I really liked the writing style and my only negative comment would be I felt the time line jumped forward unexpectantly sometimes. I thought the characters--main and secondary--were very well written and entertaining. I thought the H, Trig, was a great leading male. He was super alpha, but sweet and tend... moreer at the same time. Not sure if I loved the h. Not that I don't like her, but she seems too unreal and I was having a hard time relating to her. Nice steam and suspense. Definitely on the lighter side of MC, the action almost seemed more like a military romance, but I really liked it. less
