review 1: As other reviewers have noted, this is a book about traveling between alternate universes, the main characters are trying to outrun/destroy a virus loosed by an evil genius that is destroying all the time lines. While I like the characterizations of the 2 protagonists, I didn't believe or feel horrified by the "virus" which looks like a giant furry crow that sucks peoples brains out. The Evil genius was pretty trite and the ending was pretty contrived. Not sure what other reviewer who gave this 5 stars saw, but to each their own
