review 1: I had high expectations for this book - cover is beautiful, potential "end of the world" plot structure was a typical one for me - but sadly, I was quickly disappointed. Now when I say quickly disappointed, I mean QUICKLY; we are talking within the first section. The characters were not worth the investment time and that alone made for a disconnection with the book. Now don't get me wrong there are a few moments within the book, that if expanded on, would have allowed for the novel to take off. In all honesty it was not until the end of the book did I actually begin to care and wonder what might happen to these characters. Now on a more positive note - I hate bashing a book - the book does offer the reader the simple reminder that yes, indeed, our times on earth are gre... moreatly limited, short, and interconnected.
review 2: Concept was a good concept but there was too much that was not needed that really took away from the concept . Like a prostitute , and if your going to write from multiple peoples perspective they should intertwine better , it's too jumpy and the ending really didn't end the story. There's not much of a resolve . I wouldn't recommend this book to any one the only reasons I finished it was because of the character zan and I had already invested much of my time . less

Great story. I like focusing each chapter on one character.
