review 1: This book was lacking emotions and more realistic live scenes.I was missing more from everything even if it starts out bad is get better so fast and her life just turns perfect, perfect cop/friend/boyfriend, perfect new family, her baby is perfect. When you go trough a teen pregnancy is brings out heavy emotions, some highs but definitely some very lows, being a new mother is hard you have so many questions. You are so tired. Mia had to do it all without her family. Why did they react the way they did? Mia was strong and determined to keep her baby, I respected that very much. But she is broken and I couldn't feel it, I know she is strong but I don't feel it. Love the cover. review 2: Loved it! This is the third book I have read written by this author. There ... morewas the right amount of angst and conflict. Some of the subject matter was dark and cringe worthy but it was necessary to propel the story. For most of the book, I considered Mia's parents to be terrible people for what their daughter had to go through. Even after everything, I didn't really think they were all that great. I loved how much Logan cared for Mia and Lily. It made me smile:)I look forward for more books written by this author. less
